Mosquito Lagoon and Indian River Lagoon
Our fishing area is located less than an hour away from Orlando, and minutes from New Smyrna Beach, both Mosquito Lagoon and Indian River Lagoon offer beautiful mangrove shorelines and shallow flats offering perfect habitat for quietly stalking gamefish. This Lagoon system is one of the most unique estuaries anywhere in the world. The Mosquito Lagoon and Indian River Lagoon are adjacent to the John F. Kennedy Space Center and NASA thus creating the “Space Coast” in the early 1960’s. The Merritt Island Nation Wildlife Refuge encompasses approx. 140,000 acres of land, water and marshes to provide habitat and protection for more than 1,500 species of plants and animals along with 15 federally listed species. Capt. Chris Adams is permitted and authorized to fish the Canaveral National Seashore as well as the Merritt Island Refuge waters.
